The captains of each team are responsible for the presence of the ushers on their team. They may substitute for any volunteer or other team member. Gordon Graves will assist captains with shortage problems associated with ushering. Ushers should be present 20 minutes before the service in which they have volunteered. All the members of Pentecost surely do appreciate your efforts to make our services operate so smoothly. Thank you. **************************************************************** Usher Responsibilities · Hand out bulletins before service (Adult & Child) · Light altar candles if Acolyte isn’t at church 5 minutes before service · Turn on P.A. system (located in Cloak Room) · Turn on all breakers (located on wall by Cloak Room) · Make sure communion trays (For empty wine cups) and kneeling pads are out (On 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month) · Close and lock back door to church (After service starts) Unlock after service ends. · Seat people if necessary · Please do not talk in the Narthex during service · Make sure someone is attending nursery (If needed) · Take the offering at the appropriate time during the service. It’s better to have an open space at the rail than not enough space. **************************************************************** April 27 5 Wilkinson Family **************************************************************** May 4 1 Robert Winterle May 11 1 **************************************************************** May 18 2 Michael Wilkinson May 25 2 **************************************************************** June 1 3 Youth Group June 8 3 **************************************************************** June 15 4 Irv Burman & June 22 4 Richard Hegge **************************************************************** July 6 1 Robert Winterle July 13 1 **************************************************************** July 20 2 Michael Wilkinson July 27 2 **************************************************************** August 3 3 Youth Group August 10 3 **************************************************************** August 17 4 Irv Burman & August 24 4 Richard Hegge **************************************************************** August 31 5 Wilkinson Family **************************************************************** Sept. 7 1 Robert Winterle Sept. 14 1 **************************************************************** Sept. 21 2 Michael Wilkinson Sept. 28 2 ****************************************************************
