Serving Our Lord There are many different ways for our members to serve our Lord within our congregation. Many of our members volunteer their services by greeting our members and visitors as they come into church, handing out bulletins, ushering for communion and after services, and preparing and cleaning the communion items which are used in our services. For the convenience of our members, we have included schedules for Altar Care (caring for the communion items), Greeters, Ushers, Acolytes (candle lighters), Lector / Readers and Stewardship on our web site. Simply click on any of the links on the left to view any or all of these schedules. In addition, our secretary generally will send reminder cards in the mail during the week immediately prior to that in which our members are scheduled. Members who are not currently on one or more of these schedules but would like to serve are always welcome. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to contact Pastor Biber. If he can't help you, he will certainly be happy to point you in the direction of the person who can! |
