Our Location We hope that you will find this map helpful, as our church and parish house are not easily seen from major streets. We certainly hope that won't discourage you from giving us a try! Pentecost Lutheran Church is located in the heart of a residential neighborhood in southeast Racine, Wisconsin. We are located one block east of Kearney Avenue between Highway 11 (Durand Avenue) and 21st Street, approximately one block southeast of the corner of Kearney Avenue and 21st Street. Technically, we are on Jerome Boulevard, which runs at an angle through the same intersection, which is an odd, six way stop. You will know you are at this intersection if you see Christiano's neighborhood store on the corner. If you look hard enough from this intersection, you can see the church. If you turn the wrong way on Jerome Boulevard from this intersection, you will drive down a long block, and come to a "T" intersection with Taylor Avenue. Hammes' Tavern will be the corner building on your left. If you find yourself in this position, you are on the right street, but headed the wrong direction. Don't get discouraged.....you are still only a few blocks from the church. Simply turn left onto Taylor Avenue, drive about one block and turn left again at the traffic lights at Taylor Avenue and 21st Street. This will take you back the same six way stop that you were at a few minutes ago. From this point, make a right turn onto Jerome Boulevard (the angled street) and you are only one block from the church.
