Welcome to Pentecost Lutheran Church!
This home page has been viewed times since since January 12, 2008 We're glad to have you with us!
Everyone is welcome! Families, friends and neighbors are encouraged to join us! We are glad you are here! Pentecost Lutheran Church attempts to blend the traditional with the some of the contemporary, leaning toward the traditional. We use a traditional worship format, as found in the Lutheran Hymnal, as well as worship formats found in subscriptions services such as Creative Worship and occasionally create our own. Hymns such as "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," with organ and trumpets are often found in the same worship service as songs taught in vacation Bible school such as "Amigos de Christo," "He's a Peach of a Savior" and "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High," accompanied by Pastor Biber on his guitar. Both the common and individual cups are offered as part of each Holy Communion sacrament, which we observe on the first and third Sundays of each month, and the wafers offered as part of our communion are made by our own members. A Children's Message is part of almost every Sunday worship service and we have an opportunity to choose our favorite songs to sing as part of our Hymn Sing prior to the service on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Now that you know a little bit about us, we hope that you will take the opportunity to worship with us. We have always considered our church to be a place filled with friendly people and certainly hope that you will experience this Christian love and friendship as you worship with us. If you have questions about anything, please ask! We would be happy to help or explain. We encourage all of our members, relatives, visitors, neighbors and friends to join us at any time!
We are certainly very excited about sharing God's Word via the internet and hope that you share this enthusiasm with us. As we attempt to keep our web site current, adding and updating information at least monthly, we invite you to visit us often!
